In this role at CHEO, a leader in pediatric health, you will implement the nursing process effectively while nurturing a culturally sensitive approach to patient care. Your responsibilities include delivering family-centered services and supporting wellness for patients in the Inpatient Surgical Unit through comprehensive learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess individual patient needs and plan nursing care
• Implement evidence-based nursing practices and evaluations
• Provide valuable learning experiences for patients and families




• Engage in continuous career development and competence
• Schedule shifts autonomously as a part time nurse
Requirements:
• Certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current CPR certification requirements
• Preferred 1 year of pediatric surgery experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Must complete Vulnerable Sector Check
