This role emphasizes training, regulatory compliance, and safety program implementation. As a Safety Compliance Expert, you will have responsibility for the safety programs at WCRL in Vancouver, Nanaimo, and Chilliwack.

You will guide employees on WorkSafeBC legislation, oversee safety training, and collaborate with the Joint OH&S; Committee for continuous improvements. Your leadership is critical in maintaining a safe and compliant workplace environment. Key Responsibilities:

- Implement safety procedures and risk management protocols
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with regulations




- Investigate incidents and enforce corrective measures
- Manage safety training programs and records
- Supervise Emergency Response Team activities

Requirements:

- At least three years’ experience in an OH&S; role
- OH&S; certification from a recognized institution
- Familiarity with WSBC legislation and workplace safety
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Robust interpersonal abilities for teamwork and training
