LaPrairie Works Inc is seeking an Equipment Operator for highway maintenance in Eastern and Central Alberta. Operate heavy machinery and maintain compliance with safety protocols.

We are expanding our operations and preparing for a potential highway maintenance contract. The Equipment Operator will utilize equipment such as snowplow trucks and graders. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to safety and a robust work ethic as they assist in equipment maintenance and ensure a clean workspace.

Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to safety regulations and operating procedures
• Receive daily instructions from the site foreman
• Manage fueling and fluid levels in equipment accurately
• Assist in the upkeep and maintenance of machinery
• Ensure cleanliness around the job site and equipment

Requirements:
• Hands-on experience with highway maintenance equipment
• Knowledge of maintenance and construction activities
• Valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license is a plus
• Willingness to work day and night shifts
• Strong initiative and HSE fundamentals
