Join Loram as a Machine Operator 1 to operate vital railway maintenance equipment. This remote role combines hands-on machine operation with safety leadership.

In this field-based position, you will be responsible for both operation and maintenance of Loram’s railway inspection equipment. A thorough understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems is essential. Solid communication and leadership skills are required to conduct safety briefings and report machinery status to supervisors effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate various types of on-track equipment
• Inspect machines for defects and repairs
• Communicate operational conditions to the supervisor
• Complete accurate daily reporting and documentation




• Ensure adherence to on-track safety protocols

Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical operations
• Familiarity with Loram or similar equipment preferred
• Valid CPR/First Aid certification and driver’s license
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Willingness to meet travel requirements and work in challenging conditions
