As an Adult Mental Health and Substance Use Worker, you will provide essential life skills support to individuals battling mental health disorders and substance use, emphasizing a person-centered care approach. Your role involves assessing needs, creating treatment plans, and executing them effectively while prioritizing safety and emotional stability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with clinical teams to design treatment and safety plans
• Facilitate group activities for participant engagement
• Advocate harm-reduction models in program delivery
• Provide personal care support for individuals with diverse requirements
• Manage crisis situations using trauma-informed strategies
Requirements:
• Diploma in Social or Human Services
• Minimum two years of relevant experience
