Join the Calgary Drop-In Centre as a Community Housing Locator. This role directly impacts the lives of individuals seeking stable housing within Calgary, Alberta.

As a full-time Housing Locator, you will report to the Coordinator of Housing Support and work closely with clients and housing providers. By effectively cultivating relationships and providing ongoing support, you’ll facilitate successful housing placements and promote client independence through access to vital community resources.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop relationships with landlords for housing opportunities
• Monitor housing availability and maintain a resource directory
• Empower clients as they transition to secure housing
• Document client interactions and track progress thoroughly
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure housing standards

Requirements:
• Class 5 Alberta driver’s license and DI insurance eligibility
• Demonstrated compassion towards clients
• Familiarity with Calgary's community services
• Ability to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Alignment with the vision and values of the organization
