Understand customer operations and business goals

Tailor financing solutions and advisory support to help customers succeed

Deliver financing solutions for customers

Manage lending, credit, and portfolio activities

Build relationships and grow the portfolio

Work closely with other FCC departments

Requirements

A degree in agriculture, business, commerce, finance, or a related field

Minimum 1-2 years of related experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, relationship management and business development (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)

Experience managing a commercial loan portfolio

Experience communicating financial information or recommendations clearly to customers or internal partners

Proven ability to build and maintain business relationships, including engaging with customers, centres of influence or community partners





Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel for customer meetings

Knowledge of the broader ag-food value chain

Knowledge of commercial financing, risk assessment, and credit adjudication
