As a Science Curriculum Consultant, you will support Kahnawà:ke’s schools in crafting a robust curriculum that extends from Kindergarten to Grade 11.

This role demands expertise in curriculum development and a passion for fostering student learning through effective teaching practices. Collaboration with educators and alignment with the KEC Tsi Niionkwarihò:ten program are essential aspects of this position. Key Responsibilities:

- Create curriculum guides with culturally relevant strategies
- Mentor and coach science teachers in pedagogy




- Develop and implement effective science curriculum units
- Align educational outcomes with KEC standards
- Monitor implementation and assess curriculum effectiveness

Requirements:

- Master’s Degree in Science Education or related field
- 5 years of experience teaching Science
- Knowledge of the Kahnawà:ke Education System is preferred
- Proficiency in English; Kanien’kéha and French are assets
- Robust leadership and organizational skills
