Your role ensures the safety of employees and assets during operational restart. As a Plant Protection Supervisor, you will supervise the security team and implement key security protocols while mentoring Plant Protection Officers. Reporting directly to the Health and Safety Superintendent, your responsibilities include conducting threat assessments and integrating security procedures. Your leadership is vital to maintaining a secure setting for staff and operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Coach and mentor Plant Protection Officers in security operations
- Review and implement site security policies and SOPs
- Oversee security audits and compliance with regulations
- Manage site access control and visitor verification
- Ensure monitoring systems are effectively utilized
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in security leadership
- Valid Nova Scotia driver’s license in good standing
- First Aid/CPR certified, able to obtain Guard License
- Knowledgeable in health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean criminal record during employment
