Overview

Blueprint is looking for a Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This role sits at the center of our operations engine, maintaining accurate day-to-day bookkeeping for the network and supporting financial due diligence and FP&A; as we scale. You'll work closely with leadership and external advisors, helping keep the books clean and providing the financial data that supports new deal evaluation and our broader growth.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who's comfortable with detailed, day-to-day financial operations and eager to learn the deal side over time.

Duties

- Own day-to-day bookkeeping for shops and corporate entities: transaction recording, bank/credit card reconciliations, and General Ledger maintenance
- Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L;) for shops and corporate
- Manage quarterly HST filings and support year-end reconciliations and tax filings, working with external accountants/advisors as needed
- Review AR/AP schedules, including aging and reconciliation of outstanding balances
- Provide support on accounting due diligence for acquisition targets as needed, including reviewing financial records and reconciliations
- Track and report on key operational and financial metrics to support decision-making
- Partner with leadership on financial planning as Blueprint scales into new markets
- Develop scalable financial policies and processes to support the network's growth

Experience





- 3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Solid bookkeeping and full-cycle accounting experience, including reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and tax filings
- Working knowledge of Canadian tax compliance (HST/GST, payroll, corporate)
- Comfortable with Excel for day-to-day reporting and reconciliations
- Comfortable working across multiple entities/locations and managing competing priorities
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work directly with vendors, advisors, and leadership
- Experience supporting due diligence or working with an accounting firm/advisory background is an asset, but not required
