About the Role

We’re entering an exciting new phase of growth, with new products and verticals launching alongside our existing business. With that growth comes new revenue streams, new fund flows, new systems, and plenty of interesting finance problems to solve.

We’re looking for a Senior Finance Operations Associate to join our lean Finance team and help build the financial infrastructure behind that growth.

This role sits at the intersection of accounting, finance operations, systems, and data. You’ll own meaningful parts of our month-end close, dig into revenue and customer fund flows, partner with FP&A; on financial true-ups, and help translate new business models into finance processes that can scale.

You’ll work closely with the VP Finance, Controller, Head of FP&A;, AP Manager, Data, Product, and external advisors. Some processes are already established; others will need to be built as we launch. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable with both.

What You’ll Own & Build

Own key parts of month-end close — journal entries, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, pre paids, and supporting schedules.

Get close to how money moves through the business - Own key accounting and reconciliation work streams around Gold Coins, including revenue, redemptions, payment processor activity, and related fund flows.

Connect operational data to the financials - Work closely with FP&A; and Data to reconcile revenue and other major P&L; items, investigate differences, and ensure the books reflect what is happening in the business.

Build better accrual processes - Partner with the AP Manager and FP&A; on significant spend areas such as affiliates, influencers, game providers, marketing, professional fees, and other major operating costs.

Help launch new verticals from a Finance perspective - Get involved early to understand new products and money flows, identify what Finance needs, and help build the accounting and reconciliation processes to support them.

Support our multi-entity environment - Work with the Controller on intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and consolidation as the business continues to grow.

Bring strong accounting fundamentals to new problems. Help evaluate how new transactions should be accounted for under U.S. GAAP and work with the broader Finance team and external advisors when more complex questions arise.

Help make us audit-ready - Support external audits and the audit and regulatory requirements associated with new verticals, including reconciliations, schedules, supporting documentation, and external requests.

Help build our tax compliance processes - Work with the Controller and external sales tax solution providers on implementation, reconciliations, filings, and ongoing compliance.

Make NetSuite work harder for us - Help improve close workflows, reporting, reconciliations, and dashboards, and identify opportunities to automate repetitive Finance work.

Solve problems across teams - Partner with Product, Data, FP&A;, AP, and Operations to understand what is changing in the business and determine what Finance needs to do about it.

Who You Are

You have strong accounting fundamentals and practical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with hands-on experience in month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

But you’re also interested in what sits behind the accounting. You want to understand why the numbers move, how the money flows, and how the underlying systems fit together.

You’re comfortable digging into something you haven’t seen before, asking the right questions, working across teams, and turning what you learn into a practical Finance process.

You don’t need to have all the answers on day one. What matters is that you’re curious, detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable taking ownership.

Experience with NetSuite, multi-entity accounting, high-volume transaction environments, payment processors, or a quick-growing technology company would be especially valuable.

CPA designation is a plus, but not a requirement — strong accounting fundamentals, curiosity, and hands-on experience matter more to us.

Most importantly, you enjoy solving problems and building better ways of doing things as the business grows.
