Helpers is actively seeking Health Care Assistants who are caring and dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors. This role is perfect for new graduates or those experienced in assisted living or healthcare environments. You will provide essential support, helping clients with both routine and complex needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Help clients with bathing, grooming, and daily activities
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Regularly monitor client health and report findings
- Provide secure mobility assistance and transfers
- Foster companionship and emotional support for clients Requirements:
- Current registration with BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
- Completed a certified Health Care Assistant program
- Relevant experience in healthcare is preferred
- Negative TB test completed in past 90 days
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus Shape lives through compassionate caregiving as a Health Care Assistant with Senior Helpers.
