In this student role, you will lead research efforts, oversee literature reviews, and contribute to spring migration monitoring. The position spans from September 2026 to May 31, 2027, allowing you to gain valuable experience in wildlife telemetry and ecological research methodologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct literature reviews on migration and breeding ecology
- Review transmitter-deployment methods for bird tracking
- Map Motus receiver infrastructure in Cypress Hills
- Develop an annotated bibliography and literature summary
- Assist with equipment testing and owl processing in the field
Requirements:
- Enrolled as a student in relevant ecological programs
- Robust scientific writing and literature-search skills
