Centre (WPSHC) has always employed an innovative planning approach aimed at integrating services. Faced with the challenges of rural care delivery, WPSHC has partnered in regional alliances and created internal programming solutions that have benefited patient care and improved services throughout the catchment area. Today our uniquely integrated health care organization includes Lakeland Long Term Care, six Nursing Stations delivering care to rural communities, management of District ambulance services and dispatch, and a full range of in-patient and out-patient programs associated with a 90-bed acute care hospital.
WPSHC's innovative approach to integration has benefited the community through more seamless local delivery of services, improved access to primary care, a wider understanding of local needs and the ability to respond as these needs continue to evolve. We are currently looking for a Senior Ultrasound Technologist to join our interdisciplinary team of skilled professionals. Reporting to the Manager of Laboratory and Medical Imaging, the incumbent will work as part of a highly skilled interdisciplinary Team.
The Senior Ultrasound
Technologist is responsible for coordinating, performing, and evaluating diagnostic ultrasound examinations and will work directly with the Radiologist. The hours of work are all shifts, including weekends and being on standby as required by the Department. In return for your dedication, you will be rewarded with a hourly wage of $42.24 - $54.87 based on experience.

To qualify for the role, you must be registered with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging of Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO). Successful completion of an accredited program in Ultrasound Technology
- Current ARDSM registration in valuable standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging of Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
- A minimum of five (5) years of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history and positive work references
- Demonstrated knowledge of various computer applications and software related to healthcare programs #
