This temporary full-time position allows you to work as part of the Seniors Care Team, primarily in both emergency and community settings. You will be responsible for high-quality, collaborative care that promotes autonomy for seniors. Solid communication skills are vital, and candidates must work effectively in multidisciplinary teams participating in the development of services for seniors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver physiotherapy services for elderly clients in diverse settings
• Collaborate with community partners for improved patient support
• Enhance seniors' independence through personalized care plans
• Adhere to standards set by the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
• Contribute to the training and education of budding Physiotherapists
Requirements:
• Accredited Bachelor's in Physiotherapy or entry-level master's
• Active membership in the Nova Scotia Physiotherapy Regulator
• Experience in Geriatric Care strongly preferred
• Strong counseling and communication skills
• Capability for autonomous practice and teamwork
