Pinecrest Manor is looking for a dedicated Cook to join Southbridge Care Homes in Lucknow, ON on a part time basis. Bring your cooking expertise to prepare delicious, nutritious meals for residents.

As a Cook, you will work under the Food Service Manager, preparing regular and therapeutic diets while maintaining high standards of food quality. You will also oversee food preparation processes and support the Dietary Aides during service times. This role involves ensuring timely meal delivery and proper kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve food based on established menus
• Modify menus as required and document appropriately
• Check food supply quality and kitchen equipment
• Direct Dietary Aides in meal service and food prep
• Keep records of menu changes and temperatures

Requirements:
• Chef training or equivalent qualification necessary
• Proven experience in large quantity institutional cooking
• Ability to adhere to safety protocols
• Strong English language skills for communication
• Complete a TB screening as per policy
