Hatch is seeking a new graduate to join our Project Delivery Group as a Control and Automation Engineering Trainee. This entry-level position requires collaboration on diverse projects and engagement in both office and field work. You will develop critical design deliverables, learn about control systems, and gain hands-on experience under the guidance of senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete control engineering design deliverables independently and collaboratively
• Prepare instrumentation and control design criteria and system specifications
• Assist in procurement packages and engineering lists for projects
• Program PLC and/or DCS systems as needed
• Participate in site inspections and quality reviews
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or Applied Science expected by 2027
• Active engagement in extracurricular or volunteer activities
• Interest in control and communication systems
• Prior experience in co-op or relevant work terms preferred
• Proficiency in data-centric design tools and Microsoft Office
