About The Job As the Care Aide you will work as an integral part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team, who provide care and support in a long-term care setting. Working under the direction of RN’s and LPN’s, Care Aide’s have key responsibilities in the individual care plan for each patient, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are supported, while promoting maximum independence.
Typical Duties Include Assisting with personal care and activities of daily living
Assisting with mobility, transfers and related equipment




Performing nursing procedures such as taking temperature, pulse and respiration
Housekeeping activities relating to maintaining a safe and healthy environment
Observing and reporting changes in patient behavior and condition
Accompanying clients on outings and during social activities
Performing clerical duties and delegated tasks
Casual Opportunity This is a Casual chance. Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.
Shifts of work will be rotating days, evenings and nights from with the following shift times 07:00 to 15:00, 15:00 to 23:00, 23:00 to 07:00.

Parkview Place, located in Enderby, embodies a person-centered philosophy designed to support people’s choices, help people function at their highest level, and provide the best quality of life possible. Housed on the 2nd floor of the Community Health Centre, this is a 31-bed complex care facility with private rooms in two wings.
