In your role, you will engage with patients to explain the specimen collection process and perform necessary procedures, such as phlebotomies and ECG tracings. Key Responsibilities:
• Explain specimen collection to patients clearly
• Conduct phlebotomies and connect/disconnect holter monitors
• Complete medical/legal test collections and records




• Assist clients by addressing inquiries and following up
• Prepare specimens for accurate transportation
Requirements:
• Completion of a Laboratory Assistant program
• Experience in phlebotomy considered an asset
• Prior ECG training or experience beneficial
• Proficiency in computer skills with typing speed of 40 wpm
• Ability to empathize with patients under stress
