In this impactful role, you will focus on systemic integration and retention of Indigenous healthcare professionals. The Indigenous Workforce Development Coordinator will collaborate with various levels of WRHA and the community to dismantle barriers to employment. Your efforts will help create a representative workforce dedicated to equitable health outcomes for Indigenous populations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement Indigenous recruitment strategies
• Build partnerships with local communities and organizations
• Create outreach initiatives to attract Indigenous talent
• Advocate for anti-racism initiatives in human resources
• Support mentorship program initiatives within WRHA
Requirements:
• 3 years of experience in recruitment or workforce planning
• In-depth understanding of Indigenous customs and values
• Experience with healthcare recruitment software
• Relevant post-secondary education preferred
• Must possess a valid Manitoba driver's license
