Key Responsibilities:
• Perform specimen accession and preparation techniques
• Sort and process specimens according to guidelines
• Prepare reagents, medias, and solutions as needed




• Manage specimen referrals to other testing sites
• Collect statistics and handle reports efficiently

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Knowledge of Epic HIS accessioning is essential
• Post-secondary Laboratory Technician or Assistant diploma preferred
• Minimum one year in a clinical genetic lab preferred
• Robust communication and organizational skills are necessary
