Shape the future of Oshawa’s arts and culture as a Cultural Development Coordinator, where your focus will be on enhancing cultural initiatives and public art programming. This position is integral to fostering stakeholder relations and executing strategic communication.

Directly supporting the Supervisor of Cultural Development, you will implement services aligned with Oshawa's Cultural Plan. This role requires four years of experience in arts administration or a related field, alongside skills in project management and community development to effectively engage and manage stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver programs related to Oshawa’s Arts and Cultural Heritage
• Coordinate support for the Cultural Leadership Council




• Manage grant applications for cultural projects
• Oversee the city’s Public Art Policy
• Train and coordinate part-time staff and volunteers

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Studies or similar
• Experience in government arts and culture sectors
• In-depth knowledge of cultural development practices
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid Ontario Driver's Licence and ability to work flexible hours
