Adecco is currently hiring Maintenance Supervisor for a permanent opportunity in Delta, BC.
This role is ideal for experienced maintenance professionals with a background in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, equipment reliability, automation, PLCs, robotics, and team leadership.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will lead maintenance operations, support continuous improvement initiatives, and help ensure the safe and reliable operation of production equipment.
Pay Rate: $90,000 - $105,000 / year (depending on experience) Location: Delta, BC Shift: Morning 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM | Afternoon 1:45 PM - 10:00 PM | Night 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM Job type: Permanent | Full-time Responsibilities: Lead and support a team of maintenance technicians while coordinating daily maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, robotics, and automation systems.
Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
Lead equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Assist with equipment installations, changeovers, and production start-ups.
Monitor maintenance performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Qualifications and Skills: Journeyperson certification, diploma, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in: Millwright, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical,
Mechatronics or Related technical trades Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum 2 years of supervisory, lead hand, senior technician, or maintenance leadership experience.
Experience with PLCs, automation, robotics, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Injection molding or plastics manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning.
Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Robust leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience is considered an asset.
Additional training in PLCs, automation, predictive maintenance, or reliability engineering is considered an asset.
