Kids Centre for treatment and development Utilizing and ensuring the integrity of screening equipment Communicating screening results to the parent/guardian and discussing the follow-up recommendations Maintaining competency in the testing procedures Qualifications Community College Diploma in a health related field such as communications disorder specialist or hearing instrument specialist Demonstrated recent experience working with newborns, infants and their families Demonstrated work experience within a health care setting Demonstrated knowledge of principles of adult education Excellent problem-solving skills, able to prioritize workload and work effectively with the healthcare team Self-directed, independent and skilled Able to deal effectively with newborns, infants and their families Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability with managing databases (i.e.

Access, SQL) Demonstrated experience with computer applications,



especially Microsoft

Excel, Word and Power
