This role entails commissioning secondary and primary power systems, providing expertise on testing and performance analysis in the field. You’ll supervise junior technicians, interpreting prints and implementing best practices while working collaboratively with a construction crew. Your role requires managing safety, training, and utilizing specialized equipment for effective diagnostics and analysis of power systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safety practices among construction crew members
• Commission and maintain high-voltage power equipment
• Read and interpret technical diagrams and documents
• Mentor, supervise,



and instruct junior team members
• Operate and configure various testing devices from several manufacturers

Requirements:
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or related degree
• At least 4 years of commissioning and field testing experience
• Experience handling equipment from 600V to 500kV
• Knowledge of relay testing procedures and equipment
• Must possess a Class 5 driver’s license for wide-ranging conditions
