Job Summary
Service Technician HVAC is responsible for the commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of HVAC equipment and systems at customer premises. The role ensures that work is carried out safely, professionally, and in accordance with company standards, legal requirements, and customer expectations. The position also includes accurate reporting, participation in standby or on-call duties when required, and qualified representation of the company in all customer and stakeholder interactions.
Responsibilities
- Commission and service HVAC equipment and systems in accordance with company standards.
- Diagnose,
troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems at customer locations.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, equipment replacements, and service upgrades.
- Complete service documentation and reporting accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all work performed is properly recorded.
- Participate in standby and on-call duty rosters as required to provide professional and timely technical support during and outside of standard working hours.
- Comply with all applicable safety rules, regulations, and company policies in the execution of duties.
- Maintain professional working relationships with customers, suppliers, and co-workers, and provide a high standard of customer service.
- Collaborate effectively with internal HVAC professionals and colleagues to resolve technical issues and support operational objectives.
- Attend and participate in company-provided technical training to maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant equipment, controls, systems, and service practices.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and certification requirements relevant to HVAC servicing.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and uphold company standards and reputation.
