Duties

- Measure, cut, shape, and install sheet metal components using hand tools and power tools to specifications outlined in blueprints or schematics
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances following safety standards and building codes
- Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes
- Perform drywall installation, caulking, sealing, and restoration work to ensure airtight and watertight finishes
- Use welding techniques to join metal components securely when required for specialized applications
- Assist with flooring installation and tile laying tasks as needed to support comprehensive construction efforts




- Apply construction painting techniques for finishing touches on projects involving sheet metal or plumbing systems

Skills

- Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, wrenches, pliers, and drills for precise installation and repair work
- Construction experience with a focus on carpentry, drywall finishing, or related trades is highly desirable
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately to execute complex installations
- Knowledge of plumbing systems including pipe fitting, fixture installation, and troubleshooting plumbing issues
- Experience with welding techniques for joining sheet metal components securely
- Familiarity with restoration processes involving drywall repair, caulking, sealing, and painting finishes
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to construction sites and working with heavy equipment or hazardous materials
