About the Role

Reporting to the Shop Manager, the Shop Hand will support the day-to-day operations of the shop and yard by assisting with equipment maintenance, cleaning, organization, and general shop duties. This is a hands-on role that helps keep our equipment, vehicles, and shop running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

- Assist with basic equipment and vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Keep the shop, yard, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
- Complete equipment checks and report any issues or damage.
- Assist mechanics and shop staff with repairs, servicing, and seasonal equipment preparation.
- Help with loading, unloading, moving, and organizing materials and equipment.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
- Support the team with other general shop and yard duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For

- Experience: Previous shop, mechanical, landscaping, or equipment experience is an asset.
- Education: High school diploma (or equivalent) and valid licenses as needed.
- Skills & Attitude: Reliable,



hardworking, safety-focused, and adaptable. Comfortable working with tools, equipment, and machinery. Mechanically inclined and willing to learn.

- Team Player: Professional and respectful with clients, co-workers, and the public. Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

- Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Able to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
