IS2 Workforce Solutions is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician in Calgary, AB! Are you a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting problems, completing repairs, and keeping buildings and equipment running safely and efficiently? We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Assistant with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in a facilities, commercial, or industrial maintenance environment .

What Youll Be Doing As part of the maintenance team, youll help ensure the facility, building systems, and equipment remain safe, functional, and well maintained.

Your responsibilities will include: Diagnose mechanical issues and complete necessary repairs Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment Complete minor repairs to doors, locks, handles, frames, and other facility components Perform basic plumbing repairs, including clogged drains, leaking faucets, sinks, and toilets Complete basic electrical maintenance, including replacing light bulbs, sockets, switches, and ballasts Inspect control panels and electrical wiring for issues requiring attention Perform basic maintenance and repairs involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, painting, and carpentry Inspect equipment and systems to identify preventative maintenance needs Take apart equipment or machinery to remove and replace defective parts when required Respond promptly to emergency maintenance and cleanup requests Move furniture, equipment, and materials using hand trucks, forklifts, and other appropriate equipment Maintain accurate maintenance, repair,



and cleaning records Monitor maintenance parts and supplies and advise management when inventory is running low Coordinate with and provide guidance to external contractors when required Maintain maintenance equipment in secure working condition Follow all workplace health and safety procedures What Were Looking For Minimum 5 years of direct, hands-on experience in facilities, commercial, or industrial maintenance High school diploma required; relevant post-secondary education is preferred Strong hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance skills Experience working with building systems and equipment Comfortable using common maintenance tools, including drills, saws, wrenches, hammers, and hoists Ability to read and reference blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogues Experience using precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and OH&S; requirements Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time-management skills Strong verbal communication skills and proficiency in English Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, and Share

Point Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence Ability to be on your feet for the majority of the workday Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs Nice to Have Trades experience or certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical BOMA training Previous experience maintaining a warehouse, commercial, industrial, or similar large facility Why This Role?
