Our client is seeking a Senior Production Planner who is a strong communicator, enjoys problem-solving, and takes ownership of the scheduling function.
This individual will lead daily scheduling activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, proactively address production challenges, and drive schedule adherence in an on-site, quick-paced environment.

Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and oversee the production schedule to ensure on-time delivery, optimize resource utilization, and achieve inventory and operational performance targets.
Maintain schedule integrity by enforcing a locked scheduling process, managing controlled change requests, assessing impacts, and securing required approvals prior to implementation.
Lead the production scheduling meetings, reviewing schedule status, resolving issues, and assigning clear ownership and completion dates for all action items.
Monitor schedule execution daily, proactively identifying bottlenecks, material shortages, capacity constraints, and potential delays to minimize disruptions and maintain production flow.
Proactively communicateschedule status, risks,
and changes to stakeholders while developing timely recovery plans for production disruptions, including material shortages, resource constraints, rework, and design holds, with clear impact assessments, recovery options, and actionable recommendations to support informed decision-making.
Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role with production planning and project management experience.
Strong knowledge of capacity planning, finite scheduling, and ERP/MRP systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities, with experience managing changing priorities and operational challenges.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
