Work within a multidisciplinary international team in the Subsurface Engineering department, with opportunities to support the Surface Engineering team
Use technical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to commercialize closed-loop geothermal systems
Model and forecast Eavor-Loop performance using in-house tools and commercial engineering software
Predict heat production, fluid flow, pressures, and temperatures from early project development through operations
Work with Geoscience, Drilling, and Surface Engineering to design and optimize Eavor-Loops
Integrate subsurface conditions, well configuration, and heat extraction requirements to improve system performance
Support operating projects by comparing actual performance against forecasts, updating models, troubleshooting issues, and identifying optimization opportunities
Create new engineering methods and tools
Design surface facilities that convert geothermal energy into useful heat and electricity
Use engineering calculations and process simulation to develop facility designs, equipment, piping, utilities, and control systems
Support project scoping, cost development, and design coordination
Analyze plant performance, troubleshoot equipment and process issues, identify optimization opportunities, and help implement new technologies and design improvements
Receive formal training and informal mentorship from senior team members while assisting with technical tasks
Work on projects throughout North America, Europe, and Asia
Requirements Registration as an Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T) in positive standing with APEGA is an asset
Strong technical writing skills
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)




Experience writing VBA, Python, R, or MATLAB code
Spotfire, PowerBI, and Visio experience is an asset
Ability to reason from engineering first principles, think creatively, and develop solutions to novel or unfamiliar engineering challenges
Excellent communication abilities (written, presentation, and interpersonal)
Passion for renewable energy and a desire for continuous learning
Ability to travel to the EU and Asian countries (e.g. Japan, Singapore, etc.) is preferred
Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in modeling and forecasting geothermal system performance, utilizing engineering calculations and process simulation for facility design. Strong technical writing and communication skills support effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams across international projects.
