Drive employee health initiatives as an Occupational Health Practitioner at Runnymede Healthcare Centre. Focus on delivering essential health surveillance and disability management support across the organization.
Reporting to the Director of Quality, Risk and Occupational Health, your role will include conducting health assessments and collaborating with various departments. You'll play a critical part in ensuring workplace wellness and safety through effective program implementation and stakeholder cooperation. Your experience in healthcare and occupational health is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct pre-placement and periodic health assessments
• Provide first aid and manage follow-up for workplace injuries
• Oversee WSIB claim processes from start to finish
• Implement vaccination and infectious disease prevention programs
• Run orientation sessions on workplace health and safety
Requirements:
• Degree/Diploma in Nursing required
• Current nursing certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum 2 years of Occupational Health experience
• Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office suite required
