Lead transformative projects related to Indigenous curriculum at the University of Toronto Mississauga. The role focuses on promoting Indigenous ways of knowing and education in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

As the Special Projects Officer, you will report to the Director of the Robert Gillespie Academic Skills Centre and collaborate with Indigenous Initiatives. Your responsibilities will include managing research initiatives and facilitating workshops that enhance understanding of Indigenous pedagogies, ensuring the University meets its commitments to Calls to Action.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and lead initiatives on Indigenous knowledge
• Manage multifaceted projects with diverse stakeholders
• Design and facilitate workshops on curricular topics




• Collaborate with Indigenous community partners
• Provide advice on curriculum and research methodologies

Requirements:
• Master’s degree or higher preferred
• Minimum six years in project management
• Four years’ experience in Indigenous communities
• Strong skills in community engagement and research
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint

Contribute to meaningful educational change through Indigenous perspectives and strategies within the University community.
