Qnity is seeking an innovative and hands‑on Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, development, and scale‑up of advanced technologies from concept through pilot‑scale demonstration and commercialization.

The successful candidate will combine strong mechanical engineering expertise with experience in pilot plants, process equipment, additive manufacturing, and automation to develop creative solutions that accelerate technology development and create business impact. Design mechanical components, assemblies, and process equipment using SolidWorks and engineering best practices. Lead equipment design, modification, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization activities.

Apply reliability engineering principles to improve equipment performance, maintainability, and lifecycle costs.

Conduct Root Cause

Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to eliminate recurring equipment failures. Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, and technical documentation. Support capital projects from concept through execution, startup, and completion. Sc.



in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of practical industrial experience. D Mechanical Engineering Preferred Strong proficiency in SolidWorks/CAD for equipment design, assemblies, fabrication drawings, and technical documentation.

Experience designing and supporting mechanical equipment for industrial, manufacturing, pilot plant, or process applications.

Experience conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA), reliability improvement projects, and failure investigations. Excellent project management, technical communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder engagement skills. Demonstrated ability to lead technically complex projects and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Experience with mechatronics, automation, robotics, sensors, actuators, and control system integration.
