Our client is looking for a Solution Architect for an exciting opportunity to partner with a growing and transforming business to advance key strategic efforts for the company.
You will be the primary point of architectural accountability across a variety of projects, including a time and pay migration from JDE to Workday for one of our U.S.-based entities. As a results-driven professional with a strong bias for action, you will be accountable for ensuring project conformance to architectural principles, standards, and guidelines while advancing program goals.
As a strong communicator, you will serve as the technical liaison between project technical leads, third-party architects, SMEs, and key stakeholders across the program. You will work closely with, and take day-to-day direction from, the Program Technical Lead.
What You Will Be Doing

- While the role spans the enterprise, it will primarily focus on initiatives within our corporate portfolio, helping us leverage technology to accelerate value delivery across the company
- You will ensure architectural standards and guardrails are in place for key program decisions and partner with service providers to enable leading-practice architectural governance and oversight.
- You will work with system integrators and vendors to ensure integration designs align with enterprise integration strategy. Partnering with business analysts and functional leads, you will ensure technical solutions meet business requirements.
- You will be accountable for ensuring project and program architecture decisions are technically sound and aligned with company standards and architectural principles.
- You will facilitate alignment across the program, collaborating with technical leadership and stakeholders across the broader enterprise portfolio.
- You will be responsible for maintaining architectural consistency across delivery teams and ensuring the architecture function is actively represented during key decisions.
- You will support technical and functional leads in managing and prioritizing business needs, while balancing demand and technical resource constraints within the program.
- You will lead the identification and execution of technical work required for boundary applications and integration services.
- This work will require strong communication skills, as you will regularly engage with managed service providers, vendor technical resources, and internal technical teams.
- You will proactively support risk identification and mitigation activities across the program, helping continuously improve Digital risk posture.
- You will provide technical leadership in the development, implementation, and maintenance of recent solutions and applications, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, reliable, and aligned to program objectives.
- You will guide program resources in creating and maintaining architecture documentation that supports both solution delivery and ongoing operational support.
What You Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum seven (7) years of related experience working with ERP, HCM, and Identity solutions. Preference will be given to candidates with strong integration architecture experience.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Customer-first service mindset and approach.
- Experience working with third-party vendor support resources is preferred.
- Utility industry experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with business partners at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of both waterfall and agile delivery methodologies.
- Strong organizational, presentation, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Expertise in HCM, ERP, and Financial Systems, particularly in designing integrations with enterprise applications, is considered an asset.
