Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Trade Compliance Specialist to join their team in Calgary, Alberta.

This role supports trade compliance by validating tariff classifications, verifying country of origin, and maintaining accurate, audit-ready records.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and knowledgeable in trade compliance, with solid research, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities: Classify products for customs using technical specifications, drawings, records, and BOMs.

Determine and verify country of origin in accordance with customs regulations and trade agreements.

Research and resolve classification, origin, tariff, and trade compliance issues with internal teams, suppliers,



and brokers.

Review and maintain accurate, audit-ready trade compliance data and documentation.

Assess duties, tariffs, and trade measures to support compliance and cost analysis.

Maintain supplier certifications and documentation for origin and trade program requirements.

Respond to customs and broker inquiries along with providing required classification and origin support.

Track compliance activities and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve trade data and customs issues.
