Job Overview We are currently seeking experienced Lane Closure Technicians (LCTs) to support our expanding projects across the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island.
As an LCT, you will play a key role in ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow during construction and roadwork projects.
Your work directly supports field operations and public safety.

year-round project work New trucks provided for field operations Strong focus on safety and structured operations Opportunities for growth within the company Supportive field and dispatch teams Requirements 12 years LCT experience required Valid Class 5 drivers license Clean drivers abstract Strong communication skills Ability to work 812 hour shifts in all weather conditions Positive attitude, motivated, and reliable Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment Key Responsibilities Set up, adjust, and remove lane closure systems including cones, signs, barricades, and traffic control devices according to site plans Ensure all lane closures meet MOTI and site safety standards Conduct pre-shift and ongoing inspections of work zones, equipment, and signage to ensure compliance and visibility Monitor live traffic conditions and adjust setups to maintain safe and efficient traffic flow Coordinate closely with TCPs, supervisors, operators, and construction crews on site Maintain clear communication using radios and site communication systems during active operations Respond quickly to changing site conditions, emergencies, or traffic disruptions Complete basic field notes and reports such as site logs and incident updates when required Ensure proper setup and removal of all equipment at the start and end of shifts Maintain a strong focus on public safety, worker safety, and traffic control efficiency at all times Work Conditions Outdoor work in all weather conditions Projects across Lower Mainland & Vancouver Island Long shifts (812 hours) Fast-paced, safety-first environment PIf943d183819f-30511-41588085
