As a vital member of the Fire Services team, the Deputy Fire Chief, Training oversees essential training programs to ensure firefighters meet the highest standards. You will support program development and actively contribute to a collaborative environment focused on safety and respect. With five to seven years of relevant experience, you'll be instrumental in enhancing training delivery across the department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer firefighter training programs and maintain standards
• Lead program development and training delivery improvements
• Participate in Chief-on-call schedule for emergency response
• Provide mentorship and guidance to all team members
• Foster collaboration and safety in all operations
Requirements:
• High School diploma with post-secondary coursework
• 5-7 years of experience in firefighter training
• Valid class 3 driver’s license with Q endorsement
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
• Eligibility to work in Canada
