Bring your qualitative research expertise to Explorer's growing team in Ontario, Canada. This remote role offers opportunities for travel across North America.
As a Qualitative Research Manager, you will confidently lead projects from kickoff to completion with minimal oversight. The position includes managing project setup, recruitment, and moderating interviews and focus groups, applying both qualitative and mixed-method approaches. You will also analyze findings, develop reports, and maintain client relationships on small to mid-sized projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead qualitative research projects from start to finish
• Moderate IDIs, focus groups, and ethnographic interviews
• Write screeners and discussion guides independently
• Develop client-ready reports and actionable insights
• Manage recruitment logistics and vendor relationships
Requirements:
• 3+ years' experience in qualitative research
• Solid project management skills, juggling multiple projects
• Proven independent moderation experience in various methodologies
• Skilled in client communication and storytelling
• Willingness to travel domestically/internationally up to one week per month
