North Eastern Ontario Family and Children's Services seeks an In-House Legal Counsel for a 12-month full-time contract across NEOFACS. The role provides legal advice, opinions, and strategic guidance to child protection staff and represents the Agency before all levels of court.
The ideal candidate is a lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario, with knowledge of CYFSA (Part X) and PHIPA, solid litigation and negotiation skills, and a capacity to work with multidisciplinary teams.
