Location: Remote; Greater Toronto or Ottawa Area (working Eastern Standard Time)

Working Hours: Approximately 24 hours per week including weekend coverage

Schedule: Friday afternoons starting at 2pm ET (4-hours), full 8-hour days on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-6pm ET, Monday mornings starting at 8:30am ET (4-hours); schedule may change based on business needs

Language: Strong written and verbal English communication skills required

Duration: 3-6 month contract with strong potential to extend

Background Check Requirement: Reference and Criminal Check required

Compensation: $22/hour + opportunity for salary growth within first 2 months

About the Opportunity
Altis is currently partnered with a professional services organization seeking a Part-time and Weekend Recruiter to support high-priority hiring needs outside of their traditional business hours. Recruiters will play a critical role in accelerating sourcing activity, candidate engagement, and shortlist development for active searches across a variety of teams and functions. Recruiters will support entry to senior-level hiring needs across both IT and non-IT skill sets.

This opportunity is ideal for recruiters who thrive in fast-paced, high-activity environments and enjoy working independently while contributing to a collaborative delivery model. You’ll support priority recruitment initiatives by building candidate pipelines, conducting screenings and interviews, and ensuring strong candidate coverage during peak engagement windows.





Successful candidates will participate in a structured onboarding program consisting of 2 full weeks of weekday training during core business hours for approximately 25 hours per week. This training is designed to provide the tools, processes, and support needed to succeed in a fast-moving environment.

Your Responsibilities
You’ll execute high-volume candidate outreach efforts to support active recruitment searches and pipeline development
You’ll conduct candidate interviews and screening calls to assess skill set alignment and availability
You’ll maintain accurate candidate records, resume updates, and CRM documentation throughout the recruitment lifecycle
You’ll develop and deliver pre-screened candidate shortlists in accordance with delivery timelines
You’ll support escalation management and ensure timely follow-through on recruitment priorities
You’ll contribute to improving speed-to-submit, pipeline readiness,



and overall recruitment efficiencies
You'' take ownership of searches from kickoff to close, sourcing and recruiting top talent, managing candidate relationships, and driving an exceptional recruitment experience
You'll complete reference checks and verify credentials as required

Skills and Qualifications
1+ years of recruitment, sourcing, sales, or high-volume outreach experience required
Strong communication and relationship-building skills in both written and verbal interactions
Comfortable working independently within a structured, metrics-driven environment
Proven ability to manage repetitive outreach activity with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Highly organized, coachable, and process-oriented with strong time management skills
Resilient, adaptable, and motivated by activity-based performance goals and short-term incentives
Experience with candidate screening, resume review, and recruitment tracking tools is considered an asset
