Emergency Medical Responder (Talent Pool)
Position: Emergency Medical Responder (Talent Pool)
Location: Inuvik, NT
Contract length: 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months Compensation: $350 per day

Advanced Medical Solutions is building a talent pool of qualified Emergency Medical Responders for upcoming opportunities with our Ground Ambulance Service in Inuvik, NT. About the Role
Our Ground Ambulance Service team responds to emergency calls for the town of Inuvik and provides patient transportation to and from the Access Air Ambulance Base in Inuvik, which services the Beaufort Delta Region. These are relocation contracts, well-suited to an EMR looking to grow their career in paramedicine while experiencing life North of 60.

What You Bring

EMR – Emergency Medical Responder

CMA accredited program or EMP Canada EMR Program

HCP CPR Provider or BLS

WHMIS

Class 4 Driver's License (required)

Driver's abstract in good standing

Current Vulnerable Sector Check (within 90 days)

Current medical and immunization records

Emergency Vehicle Operator certification or equivalent (preferred)

What You'd Be Responsible For

Working as part of a team (alongside a PCP) to provide the highest and most effective patient care during all phases of ground transport

Assessing the extent of injuries or illness to determine required emergency medical treatment

Safe ambulance operation and transport of patients from remote areas to Inuvik Regional Hospital

Documenting and recording the nature of injuries and treatment provided

Cleaning and maintaining medical equipment, ambulances, base facilities, and resupplying consumables
