One of our manufacturing clients is looking for a General Machinist at GTA, ON location for their facility.
Pay Rate - $25-$30/hr
Shift - Day
Key Responsibilities Set up and operate various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Measure and examine completed parts for accuracy, ensuring they meet quality standards.
Make adjustments to machinery and tools as necessary to maintain precision.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during the production process.
Ensure safety protocols are followed in the work environment.
Skills And Qualifications Solid mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Knowledge of machining processes, materials, and tools.
Understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
Relevant certifications or experience in machining may be required.
