Contribute to community well-being as a Full time Support Worker with Nezul Be Hunuyeh in Fort St. James, BC. This role focuses on supporting traditional practices and fostering life skills in service to children and families.
As a dedicated member of the agency, you will work under the Cultural Supervisor to facilitate programs that enhance social-emotional health and community engagement. Your efforts will involve planning cultural activities and collaborating with families and local partners. Building rapport with those you serve is essential in this fulfilling role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning cultural activities and workshops
• Deliver programs with families and community partners
• Establish trusting relationships with families and children
• Support day-to-day program coordination and logistics
• Keep records and reports aligned with agency standards
Requirements:
• Agree to background check and vulnerable sector clearance
• Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License with acceptable abstract
