Our banking client is seeking a Intermediate Design Researcher (5+ years) to conduct UX research using Human-Computer Interaction and design research methods
Join a research-focused team supporting next-generation Human Computer Interaction initiatives within a large financial services setting. This role contributes to end-to-end UX research activities including research design, participant recruitment, data collection, analysis, and reporting across emerging technology and user experience initiatives. The team operates within a state-of-the-art UX research lab and offers exposure to experienced design research professionals across a 40-person research organization.

Must Haves
5+ years conducting UX research within Human-Computer Interaction , Human Factors, Psychology, Anthropology, or related disciplines
Experience leading research projects independently or within small research teams
Expertise across research preparation , data collection, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and dissemination of research findings
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Anthropology, or similar discipline
Nice to Have
Experience within finance or financial institutions
Interest in AI and emerging technologies
Experience building stakeholder support for research initiatives
Experience in blended research roles involving strategy and design-related work
Knowledge of inferential statistics and statistical analysis software such as R, SAS, or SPSS
Responsibilities
Conduct research design activities including defining research questions and creating research plans
Create participant screeners, research protocols, and recruitment plans
Perform design research activities including ethnography, diary studies, user interviews, usability testing, card sorting, and experiments
Analyze qualitative and quantitative research data to generate insights
Translate findings into reports, experience maps, personas, and usability deliverables
Collaborate with designers, developers, engineers, POD leaders, and business stakeholders to support research needs
Build research roadmaps and oversee research vendors as required
