Join SAGKEENG CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES as a Speech-Language Pathologist dedicated to improving communication for children and adolescents. This full time position offers a chance to engage with a creative multi-disciplinary team focused on therapeutic excellence. Applicants must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
You will assess speech and swallowing disorders, develop treatment plans, and coach both clients and families. A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, particularly within First Nations contexts. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct SLP assessments for children
- Evaluate communication and swallowing difficulties
- Develop effective treatment and coaching plans
- Provide live coaching in classroom settings
- Liaise with families on treatment progress
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CASLPM registration or eligibility
- Minimum 2 years related experience
- Working experience with First Nations
- Knowledge of specialized testing equipment
