Become a Children’s Services Worker at Kunuwanimano and aid in transforming the lives of First Nations children and families. This full-time role focuses on equitable service delivery and cultural respect.
In this impactful position, you will establish relationships with children in care, engage in crisis interventions, and collaborate with Family Services Workers to ensure their needs are prioritized. Your role will also involve coordinating care plans and family visits, maintaining strong ties with First Nations Councils and relevant agencies. Upholding Kunuwanimano's mission and values will be essential as you influence the well-being of children and their families in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide culturally appropriate support to children and families
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans for children
• Collaborate with Family Services Workers on care plans
• Report abuse incidents to supervisors immediately
• Coordinate family access visits for children
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Social Work or relevant program
• At least two years in human services with children
• Valid Ontario Driver's license and insurance
• Ability to travel and work flexible schedule
• Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
