The Artwork Coordinator will oversee the strategic development and preservation of the UHN art collection. In this role, you will manage inventory processes, curate artworks, and maintain digital records. Strong attention to detail and collaboration with stakeholders are crucial for ensuring the collection is documented and preserved effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee artwork inventories in public and storage areas
• Maintain collection databases and visual documentation
• Liaise with artists, collectors, and galleries
• Coordinate new acquisitions and collection development
• Manage artwork installations and deinstallation processes
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or Art History preferred
• 1-2 years in collections management or arts administration
• Expertise in project coordination and stakeholder engagement
• Proficiency in CatalogIt or similar software
• Strong analytical and research skills for acquisitions
