This position emphasizes quality audiology service provision, including hearing aid fittings and clinical supervision of students. The successful candidate will work closely with other healthcare professionals while also focusing on educational opportunities. Previous clinical experience and a solid understanding of assessment techniques are preferred to effectively engage with a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify client needs through comprehensive assessments
• Implement and evaluate customized intervention strategies
• Provide consultations and education to healthcare teammates
• Supervise audiology students and provisional members
• Maintain updated knowledge on audiology practices
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Audiology
• Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba
• Prior experience in a clinical setting
• Compliance with CPR training
• Preference for those understanding Indigenous traditions
