Join Canadian Natural as an Engineering Information Management Student and gain essential industry experience. This 12-month internship at our Calgary office focuses on operations and engineering data support.

The internship offers a chance to apply your academic knowledge in a agile setting, assisting the Upgrading and Utilities Engineering Team. You will work on data integration, automation, and support with innovative engineering processes at the Horizon Oil Sands site. This role is designed for students ready to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support engineering activities in operations and maintenance
• Identify automation opportunities across data systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to align projects




• Enhance 3D data modeling workflows and quality
• Assist as-building team with documentation accuracy

Requirements:
• Enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s degree program
• Previous engineering or field experience valued
• Basic programming in C++, C#, or Python is helpful
• Valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license needed
• Comfortable with driving work trucks

Develop your engineering skills through hands-on experience while contributing to Canadian Natural's innovative projects.
